Honda Accord 2001 - Electric Seat not functioning

Hi guys,

Have an accord for which the seat adjustment for forward and backward is not working, ASC says 40k for replacing the whole set. Took it to local mechanic and seems one motor is not working. To service it, its at end and no means to open it up unless I take it to some specialist.

Did anyone had sucess it getting it rectified and could I have some details. Also I am from Bangalore so would be great if you can share sucess stories that I can get it rectified.

Thanks

you need an expert auto electrician.

The servo rarely fails, I doubt motor is the suspect. It can be a case of wiring fault.

He did check the wiring. The motor just cranks or makes a click sound but nothing happens. It is supposed to rotate the two lenghty screw type which is connected to seat railing. Will be taking it over the weekend.
