AC repaired. Evaporator replaced. Total damage 6.5 k. Now it seems that there is some problem in cooling, particularly in auto mode. Air throw & cooling suddenly reduce to an uncomfortable level. Will have to take the car again to the service station soon.

Hello,

Today on way home from office i saw a fairly new RED color fluidic verna. It wasnt one of those cherry reds. It was the kinda red we see on Polo and Vento.

When did Hyundai launch a RED color for Verna? And honestly speaking, it didnt suit the car at all. Just my opinion. No offence to anyone.

Regards,

Red was launched when the minor updates (like the removal of 3rd head rest and different alloys) was launched(a month ago). A particular shade of grey/silver was removed and the new color came in it's place. The color is more brownish red and I did not like it too.

Hi Guys,

Any specific after market suspension that has been successfully tried with the new verna?
What is the cost of the same?
Verna package seems to be very good except the ride & handling part.

What is the brand of OEM head unit and speakers coming with Fluidic Verna 1.4 CRDi?

The following thread states that OEM speaker set is Blaupunkt and HU is from JVC.

TEIN suspension for fluidic Verna has been listed for sale, in the Teambhp classifieds. Would like to hear about this from the experts.

Hello, i have zeroed on buying verna but i am confused about which variant i should go for between 1.4 EX, 1.6 SX so wanted some advise on the two engines in terms of reliability and drivability?

And also wanted to know about the new updated headlight cluster and led lights ,is it available on EX and SX version , because according to the dealer (sai auto,Mumbai) its only available in SX(O) version, can anyone please Help and clarify.

Thanks in advance.

From what I've heard, its available only in the SX(O) variant.

If I'm not wrong the 1.4 variant and the EX variant are different. The E variant has the 1.6 engine.

The 1.4 is base version, then comes 1.6 EX, then 1.6 SX and the topmost 1.6 SX(O).

So I feel you might be chosing between 1.6 EX or 1.6 SX

Yes I saw it too, did anyone else notice the alloys in the minor updated Verna, the mid head rest is removed so has the Hyundai badging, now the Verna badge has been shifted to the left side and 1.6 SX on the right side

The red colour being discussed here is wine red colour which is now available in i10, grand i10, santro and new verna. They have changed the alloys to the diamond cut alloy wheels therefore they are black in colour. These alloys were officially launched in the top variant of Grand i10.

The badges have been changed in all their cars except the Elantra.

Oh yes, because Elantra badging was already similar to what Verna and all have now. Must say the black alloys look good on the White Verna, I got a White Verna SX VTVT in April before these changes, of all the changes I just miss the black alloys, would love those on my car.

Hi, I have booked 1.6 SX VTVT and am awaiting delivery on the 16th. Have booked a white verna. Went to the stockyard for the pre registration inspection and came back flabbergasted by the smashing look of the car complimented with the new alloys.

Need some advice. With the discussions happening on this thread, I am confused if I should get the teflon coating done or not. Can someone please suggest.

Posting this on behalf of my friend,

The fuel tank capacity is supposed to be 43 liters. When I do a full tank (auto cut) after the fuel indicator starts glowing, it takes up 33 liters. Tried it multiple times, and it remains at around 33 lts.
Does this mean, there is still 10 liters in the tank left. I doubt, as I heard the reserve capacity is around 5 liters. So this adds up to 38 lts. Still missing 5 lts.

Can anyone share their experience of how many lts does it take up to fill the tank, soon after the fuel indicator starts glowing.

Or could this be a air lock issue?

My car is due for 40 k service now. Thinking of changing to synthetic oil. Excuse me if I have missed about synthetic oil any where in this thread. Is any one using synthetic? If yes, is it worth? Any improvements in engine smoothness, refinements & FE?

Thanks
