hehe you are right. but i have a intention that aveo will beat fiesta 1.4 Petrol being 12 PS more in terms of power

Hey racingforindia dude can you tell me wht freebie you got my friend is planning to buy a 1.6 fiesta. ??

Also you should see diesel 1.4 screaming as it doesn't scream . Being a 68 PS it beats indigo TDi's like anything. And i agree tyres are yuck. MRF = Madras Rubber Factory lol. No Offense.

Really?... Isn't Indigo.. slightly more powerful?
Even if Fiesta is.. quicker... it can't beat anything like 'Anything'.

TDi is a heavier then Fiesta or is it? Buttttttttt wheras the Tatas engine uses TDi the engine in the Ford uses CRDi along with aluminium construction is the lightest engine ford has ever built. So thats how its powerful

i think both have 68bhp under the hood. but fiesta has 30nm+ torque more in its favour, and needless to say ,power is transferred to the wheel in the fiesta better than it is in the indigo.

Well the Freebie is nothing more than a Chinese made clock+ mobile and stationary holder. Heck I got two of them, and they have the Ford Fiesta logo printed on it. Looks good when you keep it on your desktop, very noticeable.
But for 6L plus, one expects better, but again one shouldn’t look a gifted horse in the mouth.

800Km on Fiesta 1.6 Petrol

Hi,,recently bought 1.6SXI petrol...
finished abt 700km in 2 weeks...
wow...the ride is just too good...good steering control at high speed...lot quicker than the NHC.. FE is not bad at all...i have been getting 11~11.5 for now...i m expecting FE to increase after 1st service & some more miles onthe road..

easy to drive in the city..very quick in overtaking other vehicles onthe road...& man...it is a good racing machine on the roads of chennai..easy maneuvarability & tough brakes..

6 CD Changer in Dash is also pretty cool....but i would say the 6CD changer inthe Honda CRV was much better than a Ford system..

i m just happy that i bought this & not the regular NHC...or Aveo..

Congrats on your new ride, it will be a long term pleasurable experience. They don't change any oil or filters in the first two services, its only on the third service, hence don't expect any major changes in mileage till you get your thrid service done.

Do keep us updated as you go along and please post in the Long term ownership reports section.......

Hi bro,

Congrats for your new purchase and hope you every bit of it.

Fiesta has again revived the Ford's futures in India and it looks like theye are here to stay with more world class models being brought by Ford .

It has really redefined the segment with its awsome power ( in segment).
