We took delivery of our Twilight Blue i20 Asta Crdi yesterday. Since this car is mainly going to be driven by dad so i wont be starting a separate thread as there wont be much 1st hand driving for me. Attaching a few pics of the same.
The booking to delivery took about 25 days. the car came at 8.52L OTR.

h@r$h@l,
First of all congrats, I wish you and your dad and mom and everyone else loads of happy miles in this one, it's one of the finest in it's segment and that colour is wonderful.
Do let us know what you miss and like a lot?
Is ACC in the car? What will you do as I read in previous post a wonderful feature like DTE is missing in a car of this kind? Also do get the tyre changed as soon as you can, you need the added stability.
And did you consider the Pre-Worshipped cars? There are some mouthwatering deals, any reason to get brand new? Only asking cause in this price range you could buy two pre-worshipped.
Regards,

Hey,
Thanks a lot for your wishes. Yes the color is very nice and really gives a big car feel.
ACC is very much there and pretty powerful. Yesterday 5 of us took a long 80 kms drive around the city in HOT afternoon with no sun films ON and the car was very comfortable in NO time.
I dont really think i will be missing the DTE feature. Have one in my Punto and never bothered to look at it. It has a nice orange light which comes on when car is in Reserve and has last 6-7 ltrs of Diesel left. As per the showroom guys the full tank range of i20 Crdi is approx. 680 kms. So i can keep an eye on the reserve light or get a top up once i cross the 550 kms mark in my Trip A / B.
Tyre change is not on the plans anywhere. I found the car pretty alright. Next weekend i plan to take it to Surat and shall know more on its highway manners. Since my other car is a Punto i shall be placing most comparisons with that.
And lastly, No i did not consider any pre worshiped cars as i consider buying it first hand in what ever budget I have. I dont see a point buying a 4L used sedan and than running around for its repairs and other issues. Would rather prefer dealing with the company directly.
Regards,

Yes. Magna, Sportz, Asta & Asta(O) all come with ACC as standard fitment. The difference is in other features like some safety features and alloys etc.
Attaching 1 more pic of the car. Clear front view image.
Regards,
Hey harshal, congrats for your new posession. The i20 is really an uber cool companion.
:OT Request you to please come up with a initial ownership review for it. Not many on the forum. Would clear up many nagging doubts regarding this beauty.
When I first test drove the new i20 and subsequently drove a friends i20 I found the cooling to be inadequate, GTO refuted this and said that their test drive car didn't have an AC issue.
Well as always, I think he was right. As today I test drove the diesel i20 again this time for my girlfriend and I asked for another car to check whether the AC is adequate, they provided me with the sportz version which had temp registration. And it really kept us cool for the 30 mins we took for the TD in the afternoon, moreover everything about the car was miles ahead of the TD vehicle. She will probably book one by the end of the week. :)
They have offered genuine leather seats free :)

Is this offer for a diesel car?
Guys, I loved the i20, but the only thing holding me back is the soft suspension. Is there a possibility to get after market suspensions that would
a. Improve the handling
b. Stop the car from crashing into pot holes
c. Increase ground clearance from the pathetic 165mm to atleast 175 mm.

I own a 2009 asta crdi. I have never faced any issues with the GC. Yes, sure you can see an appreciable improvement in the handling with an after market suspension and wider tyres. But I don't think you can do anything about the steering, but you will get used to it.

1. Set your bluetooth device to discoverable.
2. From the "Home" screen, select "Settings"
3. Select "General"
4. Select "Bluetooth"
5. Set bluetooth"On"
6. The phone starts searching bluetooth Audio HU. It should show up on the screen where you can enter PIN code. Enter PIN (usually located in the manual) You should be able to pair.

Anytime :) This is the best part about team-bhp. There's always help at hand. There are many bhpian's who go out of their way to help fellow bhpian's which is a fantastic thing. Read in many threads where fellow bhpian's help each other extensively while hunting for a new car or otherwise, while PDI, delivery, post delivery for accessories. This is one incredible forum :)
