Jaw-dropping indeed. That humvee looks NICE!!! I am surprised I caught this thread late.

Better late than never - CONGRATS!!! More importantly for chasing your dream and realizing it.

So do you get a nasty look from the Arabs in sedans/hatches when they spot you sitting way "above" them? I don't mean to be racial at all. The reason I ask is I grew up in Bahrain and I remember facing some of that when travelling around in dad's SUVs which were company-owned but could be easily misunderstood by spectators.

OT, If there was one strong reason I'd want to go back and live in the Mid-East, it's the fuel price. Imagine this:
1. For petrol heads, you can just redline all day and dont care about efficiency. A full tank would only cost about 500rs!
2. Cost living is not as steep as the west, so you still save a lot of money.
3. Close to home in case the need arises.

Anyway, wish you a happy ownership experience.
