Are you the only one on bhp having a vento with a spoiler? :) Havent seen any pictures of any other vento owners opting for it.
DD, what is the latest update on your car? Share some anecdotes, drives and more importantly lots of pictures
Cheers and Drive Safe :thumbs up

@pc73 - Yeah. Agree with @Click. Where is the picture ? LOL !
Just realised that there is only one other picture of a Vento on TBHP that has a spoiler.
There is a Pete's picture (with spoiler), but excluded that since it is not owned by a TBHPian (or) am I wrong ?

I am at 9700+Kms. I got mine a whole 2.5 months after yours. Am not doing bad I guess.
Cheers,
First Service Updates :-
- The Vento went for its first service on 14 Dec 2013. Had 23 more days for the 1yr mark & 600 odd kms left to reach the 15000 kms mark. Took the baby home on the same day.
- Booking the service was not a neat affair. The service center was overbooked (allegedly). Had to persuade to get this done. Am travelling and hence would not have time to do it any other time.
- The service itself was a pleasant experience. Spent the first half of the day in the Service Center ensuring that the car is allotted. Had a opportunity to talk to a few other VW customers. Some happy. Some angry.
- The Workshop Manager was kind enough to entertain my request to see the quality of the vehicle's engine, when it was being replaced. Am yet to familiarize myself with the look and feel of new/used synthetic oils.
- Was also fortunate to see the vehicle being connected to the laptop and the ECU software being updated. (a point version from 79 to 81 as I was told). The engine was humming for a half hour during the time it was being updated.
- Requested the workshop to not do the wheel alignment & balancing. Did the same from my regular place in Kondapur (opp RTA office). One small nail was embedded in the outer rubber in a slanting position. Nothing major otherwise.
- The workshop did something with the doors as they found 'noise' in the doors. It is unusual that I did not find any noise in the doors. Upgrading from the Indica probably has left its effect on me. The Vento is super silent to me from the inside.
Invoice Copy (For reference). Rs 8999 - Sweet !
Fuel Log :-
A few Graphs :-
Post the service, the engine is a little quieter (only on careful observation). May be I was soft on the engine. Having a infant at home definitely mellows you down.
Cheers,

I like the gamin set up.Please consider the blaupunkt philadelphia system also
It has a very good feedback.Refer to the link above.
DRLs with projectors will complement the looks and give you a wide coverage on highways.
Wish you a happy mile munching.
Till we meet again. Chao.
After a very happy 2 years with the Vento, finally I let it go with a heavy heart.
I would sincerly recommend the Vento to anyone who is looking for a elevated experience within a budget.
Hunt for my next vehicle has just started...
