Re: The long Journey to Storme (Safari Storme)

Have to say that you had your priorities sorted out well and your choice reflects those very well! Congrats on the Storme! Do put up lot more pics (especially interiors) and keep updating the thread!!

Hope TATA has managed really well to iron out the issues forever and can provide a fun ownership.

Wish you miles of happy & safe motoring!

Re: The long Journey to Storme (Safari Storme)

Congrats on your new SUV, will be looking forward for your future exploits with her.
Regarding the PPF film, suggest you to visit 3M and they should be able to help you put it up for your bonnet & Bumper.
How sure would this PPF film work on the highways against those sand laden lorries?
You can refer to Aditya's thread where he has put up one at the 3M store in HSR Layout.

Thank You. I already done the PPF on front, rear bumber,Bonnet, rear entrance and all door side. This will avoid any scratches and stone hit while doing long highway cruise. I did this from 3M Marathahally. Mr. Manoj and his team did a nice job. I will post the pictures later this week.

Re: The long Journey to Storme (Safari Storme)

Many Congratulations Prajeesh. Your Strome looks stunning.

There have been lot of praise on interior finish quality & zero niggles.
It seems with Strom, Tata has finally got over their core issues & are moving in the right direction.

Do post some interior pictures.

Wish you many happy miles ahead.

Re: The long Journey to Storme (Safari Storme)

So many new Storme owners and no niggles. Looks like Tata has got something right this time around and Carl-Peter Forster's perseverence before he quit has atleast led to something being done right. Hope they take the right lessons and capitalize on this in the right direction. There should be zero tolerance of any failure of mission critical components on the Storme and a lot of people will be closely watching the long-term customer reviews on this one to seem if the usual electrical/electronic/clutch/doublemassflywheel/centrepin issues crop up in an year's time.

Hello Prajeesh!

I am looking forward to getting a Storme myself. Would like to know about your experience till now. I am not looking at the 4X4, as I will be using it as a highway cruiser and a 90km daily drive through mixed city and highway drive to office. I have short listed the EX 4X2 (it suits my pocket too!).
Please update us on your experience please!

Re: The long Journey to Storme (Safari Storme)

Congrats! The white colour looks good on the Storme. Wish you many happy kilometers with it. Though they have toned down the face of the car a wee bit too much for my liking; nevertheless it looks good. Also please do put up the interior pics.

Thank You. The 3M person told me 5 yr warranty unless it is your mistake due to accident

I took Gold AMC which covers everything except battery and tyre.

The long Journey to Storme (Safari Storme) - Update completed 1250 KM and 1st service

I completed 1250 KM in my Storme and 1st service at Concorde motors, Hosur Main road. Mr Prem and Imtiyas have done a wonderful job.

For 1st service, there is nothing much to do. They checked every thing. For me there was no niggle as such. The clutch was harder and they proactively rectified. As I mentioned in my earlier post, it was due to lack of proper greasing on springs associated with the clutch.

Very courteous people at Concorde motors.

Mr Prem is very approachable and is more patriotic .

Till now I am happy with the way things are happening and good feel about Storme.
