A quick update :- I completed 4500 kilometers , getting a mileage of 18 KMPL when checked with a full tank of diesel with mixed driving of town, country and highway.

The suspension is which i like the most then the rear viper and defogger which is really helpful on rain drives.The stock headlamps and fog lamps seems to be powerful for night drives so i dropped of fixing a pair or hella Rallye 3003 compact.One night the ABS helped me to stop the vehicle correctly on a sudden break while driving on a wet and slippery highway in heavy rain.


The angle seems to be very low for the tilt steering.The driver seat adjustment is helpful for ladies , my wife find it more comfortable.The Ash tray is detachable.

The music system is not bad. The USB helps me to play music from my phone. No iphone compatibility.The internally adjustable ORVM's really help me while reversing along with the rear parking sensors.The turning radius seems to be amazing along with the power steering.The comfort of the middle row seat in long journeys is awsome.

The remote range on the key is very less and the glove box is so small.The door pockets are only good for magazines.The gear shifts needed to be fast paced else the overhead AC unit will give some vibration sound.

Also the fog inside the headlight and fog lamp needed to be addressed to CASS

I am planning for a F1 blinker to be fixed near the rear number plate , any suggestions ?

Any one tried wooden trim dash board ?

i had a chance to travel in Enjoy for about 500kms in last two days. Most of the travel was in middle seat. The vehicle was a taxi with 26k km, shod with Giti tyres. it was LS trim looked to be well maintained.

Suspension is good. Soaked bumps easily.
Seat base is small and hence less leg support, although i did not get any leg pain.
There was constant humming sound from engine in lower RPMs, NVH issue I guess.
There was constant drive train noise from rear wheels just like thoe in buses. I feel probably busted bearing as there is no reason for noise coming from rear wheel.
Tyres were at 50%+ life
headlights were good but could be better.

car seemed to struggle after 110kmph at yamuna expressway (5 adults and 2 small kids) driver mostly kept at 85kmph, probably thats a sweet spot.

rear most seat is okey, good for small sized adults and kids.

VFM at the price offered.

Average said by driver was 20kmpl

instrument cluster was bit dark due to insufficient blue lightning

The fuel tank lid doesn't open completely in a 90 degree angle but just higher of 45 degree angle. It is very difficult to fill fuel at indian pumps.

The end effect is the lid getting shapeless thus the internal fuel lid opening mechanism failure

While topping up diesel in my Beat after the automatic cutoff it takes around 7 more litres to reach the brim. So it takes a lot of time as the pump attendant has to go really slow with the nozzle because if he goes faster the fuel starts to overflow. I feel its a defect in the fuel pipeline.

Is it the same with Enjoy?

I was never a fan of the looks of Chevy Enjoy, but the smoked out pillars really look stunning and adds to the character!

I just took the delivery of the enjoy after second service.

Both headlights replaced under warranty, reason :- mist formation.

Hand rest of middle row seat replaced under warranty.

Service cost :- 1888 INR

IMO F1 blinkers would be better if placed below the bumpers.

Wooden trim (sticker stuff) would be for the center console and side AC vents, right? Does Chevy provide them as after market accessories? Why not try a carbon wrap for the center console and AC vents?

There should be autographix wood insert available for Enjoy by now. Check them for availability. It looks good and remains good for long time.

Kudos for a very well rounded review of your latest set of wheels. Rightly said the Enjoy is poor man's Innova. However its direct competition could be another one with the national oil burner, the Ertiga but for the last row of seats which does not even fold down completely.

Surprised about the poor quality of the headlight console leaking moisture and the fuel lid not engineered to our market. All in all it should be a decent people mover especially with those captain seats.

Wishing some great miles and do keep us posted regularly.

The dash board of the Limited Edition Enjoy. Normally I am not a fan of wooden trim, but I found these to be really nice.
