Update: ICE upgrade for the car.

I missed out on this part entirely when I made the post! The car actually had a Kenwood 1-din CD-player with no USB with unbranded front components and Nippon rear 6x9 when I bought it. The sound was indescribable. (sarcasm)

I changed the HU to Pioneer X759BT and of course improvement noticed but still nowhere around the sound in my Nano. Now, recently upgraded the entire system with 6.5" co-axials in front and 6x9 co-axials rear. Everything done on a tight budget.

From Planet Car Music, Kothrud, Pune.
1. Pioneer X759BT - Rs.9800
2. Focal 165CA1 co-axials for front doors - Rs.9000
3. Damping for front doors - Rs.2000

The focals required a bit of cutting on the front doors to accommodate them. Damping has really decreased the vibrations due to speakers which is very much noticeable.

From Snapdeal:
4. JBL GTO S959 6x9 on rear tray - Rs.3900 (under an offer)

I am now awaiting the delivery from Snapdeal. Actually what had happened is - the dealer Planet Car Music installed Boston components 6.5" in front and Boston co-axials 6x9 in rear tray. I was expecting clarity with good thump, but to my disappointment, the thump is literally missing in the Bostons. No doubt, they are great with clarity. They cost Rs.8000 for complete set.

The dealer was kind enough to exchange these with Focals and asked me to order JBL from snapdeal as he couldn't offer such low rates. I was working with a budget under Rs.10K for the speakers, but now just another victim of ICE'ing. At least looks like haven't gone completely overboard on the wallet front. Will check how this setup sounds and then decide on an amplifier with/without sub. Mostly I hope it won't be required. This should enable me to get a Xenon HID kit in the next couple months.

Congrats on your purchase ! Had a idSi used for a couple of years, and it surely belies the bhp rating it has. The front suspension is the only issue I had in 2 years of ownership. However, the brakes aren't up to it (reason why I sold the car ) so please drive safe.

Thanks! I agree with the brakes not biting good enough like many cars even lower down the segment. I maintain healthy distance to avoid panic braking in the first place while they are good enough in the city at low speeds. I hope there aren't any incidents listed on T-BHP because of this specific issue.

And yes, its the front suspension that needs work anytime in the near future.
