Hi buddy,

I have not had a chance to test drive a camry, but i have driven the 3.0 accord, but anyways i would also suggest you to wait till atleast jan-feb next year if you can as Accord will be replaced thats for sure, what all will be changed in it, you never know till you drive it.
Merc is also looking for a change in its C-segment car and moreover there will be a new entry in this segment The BMW 3-series with a price tag of 27 lacs.

You will be having a lot number of fresh options...

Yes it does cost 27lakhs on road for the automatic....21.xx ex-showroom+3.xxlakhs road tax(higher since its cbu)+other charges such as insurance etc sum it all upto a lil above 26 lakhs.
About the sales....well it is somewhat like the anology u mentioned, the deserts want the rain but never get enuf. Toyota Japan has set a limit per city for the amount of cars they will export here, the demand is much their than their target....there was a 3 month wait on the car sometime ago. So they are selling more than their target. You cant expect it to sell as well as the accord coz its a cbu.

Danlalan, the wait is more due to nonsupply of the product, than coz of the demand of the product. The distributions of these high end cars area wise and country wise is sooo less that even if there are 5 ppl in the line, they might ask them to wait 6 months, coz their stock of the cars is up, and for the next lot to come, they will take a long time.
