Hello,

I am aware of the difference in size and segment of both these vehicles, still wanted to have your opinion on will this new Endeavour be overwhelming to drive in the City due to its size/dimensions. I love the car but the size is making me think as I (also the family) am someone who prefers practicality and ease of driving over other things.

I am eagerly waiting to get one but please pour in your thoughts as to to ease of driving part of this car. I would appreciate if you can compare it with EcoSport and New Age XUV.

PS: I am completely aware that these 3 cars belong to different segments, but I hope you get the concern I have please:

Thanks.

Thats speculative and very high. I mean I will be soon in the market for a 20 lakh diesel vehicle. I might stretch it to 25 perhaps but anything more is not possible. I think if Ford can price it right in this sweet spot they are going to kill all the competition as the vehicle reviews all around are good.

Gujarat

Fortuner 4x4 MT is priced at 29.02L
Fortuner 4x4 AT is at 30.11L

Bangalore

Fortuner 4x4 MT is priced at 32.44L
Fortuner 4x4 AT is at 33.67L

I don't think 32-34 L for 3.2 top variant is too high, if ford can provide most of the features.

True, depending on which car you're graduating from. If you drive anything like the city, vento or something smaller, you will feel the bulk. If you're used to driving an Innova, Safari, Scorpio, you won't feel the endeavour to be too big. But do doubt, this car will be big for some narrow streets.

In that case, ertiga and mobilio might be the best 7 seater. :)
The XUV 500 is fantastic, and it's as big as the innova/scorpio. (give or take a few mm)

The XUV is incredibly spacious in the first two rows. The third row is strictly for kids.

Compared to the Ecosport, the endeavour will be significantly more longer, wider and taller. The Ecosport is like a grown hatch in terms of dimensions.

and New Age XUV.

The Endeavour will be slightly longer and wider than the XUV. If kids are going to use the last seat on the car, just buy the XUV and save $$$ :)

says 2016 Ford Endeavour snapped at an Indian dealership

http://indianautosblog.com/2015/11/2...-dealer-204386

" The next generation flagship SUV from Ford India is expected to launch in early 2016, and will be the first product from the company in 2016. Bookings for the new Endeavour are likely to open sometime next month. Currently, dealers are awaiting Ford India’s approval to accept pre-orders."

seems that ford is really going to launch new ENDY in december..

Have never owned a Ford before, so would like to know who is the largest Ford dealer in NCR? Is it Harpreet Ford? Any contact no. of a good sales guy or should I just walk in? I'd like to pre-order this.

All those interested in the Endeavour please put a down a booking in your names now it self. I have a hunch this time too Ford won't be able to ramp the production up that much. Even in Thailand this month the new Fortuner and Pajero Sports sold around 4200 and 3800 units where as the Everest just sold 850 due to supply constraints.

Another update which says booking starts from mid December and delivery from mid January.

According to the Australian websites who have tested the Everest, say that the Jeep Grand Cherokee is much more refined.

However, the question is when is Chrysler going to release the JCG (in India)?? (Edited to Add: We have been waiting a long, *long*, time!)

I spoke to the Chrysler guys quickly outside Mumbai airport a month or so ago, and they were saying that target price was 60-70L - so a bit pricier than the Endeavour, plus no 3rd row of seats.

Hi,

Can someone please help me compare the new Endy with the Fortuner. Which one and why? please:

Thanks.

The Fortuner is not expected to be available in India for some time - possibly even at the end of 2016 or beginning of 2017.

And how about the current Fortuner vs the 2015 Endeavour?

I think that this information was already there a couple of months ago.

I recall having signed up to be informed, but nothing received yet.
