Dear All,

A friend at work recently shot a video of his 8 year old reviewing the XUV 500. My friend isn't a member here but actively follows all our forums, and wanted me to post this video on this behalf.

If you have time, please have a look at this. The kid is a PRO!!

You know the auto industry in the country has a great future not when we see great cars being produced but when we see an 8 yr old reviewing a car with that level of detail.

Very knowledgeable kid, this depth in knowing a car cannot come from memorising, he just loves this car!

Thanks for sharing..

Cheers,
Sting

Thanks for sharing, Iceman7! This budding petrolhead has all the makings of a professional reviewer. Moving post into its own thread.

Great job!! I have no words. It's really nice to see young enthusiasts. I am sure that he would be up with a new review soon :D.

Hey Iceman7,
Its amazing to see a kid having so much interest in a car at that age. The only thing closest to automobiles I did at that age was play racing with my Hot Wheels cars. lol:

I see a bright budding pretolhead in Rushan. Do share this with your friend. Won't be shocked if he overtakes his dad in car knowledge soon in the coming years ;) , after all the new generation is much more advance than we are and will surely break new boundaries which we barely could even imagine off.

Awesome kiddo! It's so nice to see an unbiased and simple video review of the XUV! Loved his English and his narration capabilities. I could barely speak when I was his age! Hoping for more videos from your side soon. And yes, I am pretty sure that we will meet you Rushan on Team-BHP soon! :)

Keep revvin' dude!

Neel

Of course, it isn't HIS review. It's what he's read or been told about. For e.g. the comment on lumbar support or thigh support.

But saying that misses the point.

The fact is that an 8 year old has an interest in a car beyond *wide eyed sunroof* or some other funky pop out feature. Even if he narrates what he has read/overheard/been told, what is impressive is his interest in the subject, and his ability to retain that information. Props to him, and may his tribe grow. I am sure the kid is going to grow up with more than just a passing interest in automobiles. May be the Tatas and Mahindras are watching this :)

Wow this is truly amazing, I see some editing only in the end which means this 8 year old guru packs some serious energy to take this detailed review for 20 minutes non-stop. I have a son similar at his age, and when we go out for car shopping, he talks mostly about the rear seat comfort (his place) and the looks he doesn't care about anything else. But this little genius goes through the infotainment system menu by menu and rips it apart. Truly amazing, the level of details he knows about this car even the sales guys at the showroom wouldn't know.

Dude O Dude. clap: Totally glued to what you had to present. You put a huge smile and small giggles on my face, when you had to say what you had to say the way you wanted to say! Kudos to you and your family!

The kid doesn't know which is the right side and which is the left, but...what a presentation by an eight year old.

Thank you everyone for taking the time to see this video. I am sending the URL for this thread to Srujan and his dad. I am sure they will love to read your comments :)

Reviewers are in for some serious competition soon.

Here we have 8 year olds talking about lumbar support and legroom and detailing the ICE. 8 year old me was happy when dad would let me sit between the front seats and change gears! lol:

Honorary membership requested for this little gentleman till he gets his DL.

I'm showing this to my kids.

:-)

I am blown away and I have only watched a few minutes of this review. Am gonna watch the whole thing at home and show my son as well.

Hats off to you Srujan.

Reviewed like a true pro. Excellent knowledge with superb presentation skills. I didn't take off my headphones till end of show. Jeremy Clarkson in the making
