Re: The Power To Surprise - My Kia Seltos 1.5L Petrol MT - Ownership Experience #ThePowerToSurprise is one year old.
So today is the first birthday of our beloved Seltos! Exactly one year back we drove it from the showroom around the same time today when I am writing this post. How time flies!
It's been long since I posted updates so here we go now on the occasion of first birthday -
Although my car hasn't seen much places to travel (all thanks to Covid), most of the running has been for office commute, shopping and friends/family visits. As of today, ODO reads over 6000+ KMS!
I got my car's second service in November from Lohia Kia around 5,000 KMs mark. It was typical free service without any consumables replaced, just general check up and washing. This time my experience at service center was quite good as compared to first service. It took around 90 minutes for the service to be completed. I bought an OEM cover for my car from the service center as the old cover (bought from Amazon) had worn out.
After servicing, I gave a coat of collinite 845 wax to my car. Usually it is cleaned/washed every day by usual car cleaner in the neighborhood. Talking about the performance, I am totally satisfied with the purchase. The 1.5 smart stream petrol engine is just perfect for city driving as well as the highways. Mileage is well over 15-16 KMPL.
Earlier this month I got my car's insurance renewed from Lohia Kia itself. Got quotes from various insurance companies and after due consideration, I choose national insurance company over digit. Premium was quite low considering I am getting benefit of 50% NCB from my previous insurance transfer. Add ons includes zero dep, engine protect, RTI etc.
All in all it was amazing first year although I wish I could take her to some long highway interstate trips. Hopefully with Covid situation improving this year has some hope for those kind of travels that this car deserves.
Now let some pictures do the talking! |
