Bruh, how was your experience with the Civic in Kerala?
I'm looking for a new car. Is it worth buying a used Civic over the new Honda City? What will be a fair price for a 2019 Civic ZX CVT which has run 25k?

Resale values would have dropped like anything, as the model is discontinued. 25K is not bad. Car is an absolutely bliss to drive, gets decent mileage, extremely good suspension. Occasional CVT rubberband effect, but you have paddle shifters to counter that. Has decent gadgets inside to take care of entertainment needs. Given that Honda has shut down civic production in India, this might be the last civic model built in India. 2022 model might come (highly unlikely) as a CBU and as usual with Honda India, they would price it at 3 series level. So depends on what your getting the second hand one for. I can’t imagine anyone selling this car as asking price should be peanuts for a discontinued car.

The only reason why i considered the civic is as the car is discontinued I'm likely to get a steal deal. Can you help me with a fair price for the used one i mentioned earlier. And have you faced any issues in your particular car?

There are really nothing major to mention. There was a fuel pump issue for which Honda issued a free replacement for all cars. Ensure the one you’re getting has had that done. Other than that, it’s a no nonsense car

Can you share what is the average mileage in city vs highway or average mileage you are getting in your Civic. What is the expected mileage. Asking for a friend who is looking at a second hand 2019 Civic with 50k kms on the odo.

2019 Civic ZX CVT owner here. Urban limits about 9kmpl with auto climate control and ECON on. And with the same configuration on the highways about 16kmpl. 1kmpl more with use of cruise control. I've hardly driven this car with the ECON off. I like that green leaf appearing on the cluster for some reason.

9 to 12 Km/l in City based on traffic conditions. On Highways, it will be 16 to 18 Km/l based on speed and traffic conditions. Consistent 90 to 95 km/h on highways has always provided good mileage of 17.5 to 18 Km/l.
