As a fellow Kiger Turbo CVT owner, I could relate to a lot of points you mentioned.

I am 3k kms in and have 0 regrets in my buying decision so far.

The Sonet HTX DCT was a close second for me but it had claustrophobic rear seats, shoddy safety record of the Koreans, sub-par mileage and a DCT that is unproven for long term reliability, especially driving in city traffic conditions. So the decision of Kiger and saving 2 lakhs over the Sonet was a no brainer for me

I think Renault/Nissan have done a good job in building a safe, practical and fun to drive car (especially the Turbo CVT trims), but they do need to expand their sales presence - currently the majority of Kigers sold are in metros is what I've heard (given their larger sales presence there)
