I have booked new Swift AMT top end (12L) and yet to test drive it. How is the CVT's long term review and what is the average mileage please? I am thinking of i20 IVT sportz O (12L) as well. Need to compromise on mileage with i20 and also cant get top-end as its 14.5L.

I do not have long term experience with Hyundai CVT but I can tell you for sure that they are not as good as Honda. Also there was one CVT failure reported on our forum few months back but Hyundai replaced it free of cost even though it was out of warranty, so all these counts.
Coming to main question. How do you compare Hyundai i20 with Swift, i20 is a segment up and compets with Baleno. If you are getting i20 at Swift price, former should be a clear winner. However, if you are looking for mileage, go for Maruti for sure.
i20 CVT mileage in Delhi run given 12-13 kmpl. On highways i20 CVT gives 15-17 kmpl.
