Agree. Mahindra should update the vehicle with all the necessary safety and driving features and modernise the design while keeping the 'workhorse' image of the vehicle. Like Ford Bronco's interiors and exteriors.

Re: 2025 Diamond White Bolero - Initial impressions

Congratulations on the acquisition! The Bolero is undoubtedly a rugged vehicle that exudes a different aura!

I bought my BS6 Bolero in December 2020 and wanted the Rocky Beige colour which was a struggle for the SA to allocate because white was readily available at all times.

We traveled to many states in the country and never once we encountered any issues with the vehicle. Though the ride quality at the rear is bad the vehicle never disappointed no matter how much you load it with people or luggage. The engine is peppy and a breeze to drive both in city and highway traffic.

One of the main reasons I chose Bolero was because of the ease in modifying the vehicle. The possibilities are endless. It had always been a pressing dream to create a rugged looking machine ever since i purchased it and safe to say today, I'm glad i could turn it into reality

Despite its plain design and lack of on board tech, I would pick the Bolero over a modern car any day! It's timeless!

I think your beast deserves its own build thread where you let us all in into all the mods you did - one post at a time so we can savour this absolute drool machine! (said no woman ever )

Re: 2025 Diamond White Bolero - Initial impressions

Great to see a Bolero thread these days. I own a 2016 m2DiCR model and am more or less happy with it.
The only gripe being the back bench not foldable. Its such a small thing for Mahindra, but they opted not to do that in a utility vehicle !.

Have they changed it in the newer models?

Looks great . You should consider a new thread for your Bolero.

OT: Your Bolero is Kerala MVD's wet dream. Do not cross the border

I think you both (and @gischetans) added the fuel to the fire! Since two days I have been mentally preparing to decide to start a thread and showcase my writing skill (or the lack of it!)

Dedicated thread coming soon!

Re: 2025 Diamond White Bolero - Initial impressions

It is a really VFM vehicle and its sales volumes indicate there is a definite market for this product. Granted, its mostly bare bones lacking in creature comforts BUT it can go anywhere and swallows up the bad roads. How i wish they could have a 4WD option on ths BS6 variant.

Why was Bolero Camper Gold not considered? It comes with same AC, all power windows and luggage space, similar colour options, albeit with a 2.5L engine.

Re: 2025 Diamond White Bolero - Initial impressions

The headlight. There is a blank provided below the indicator. Apparently, it can house parking lamps.

Hi, gischethans

Congratulations to Naval for his new horse! The Bolero has always been a legendary car, associated with Police Officials and other Government departments.

In Assam, especially in Rural and Semi Urban areas, Boleros can be seen everywhere and in every iteration.

The blank below the indicator actually houses a Cornering lamp, it is very useful
during Night driving in ghats and other Hilly areas.

Re: 2025 Diamond White Bolero - Initial impressions

I am always at a cross roads when the Bolero is being discussed. There is no doubt on its versatility and people will buy them as long as they are made. However, crash safety is not really in its genes and people can buy them brand new, use in highways like any other car. We do not have a farm vehicle concept in India with alternative norms.

Why can't M&M infuse some safety into it like how Maruti made the Wagon R 'compliant'?
