no way in hell....
dudes its better to go in for a second hand car like an esteem or sumthin..
which will offer u a thousand times more comfort...

its good the boys managed to convince u not to buy the bike...
imagine the waste it wud have been if u did....
because in a year ud be gettin the comet 650 for about 3 1/2 to 5 lacs...
i feel that would have been a better deal dunt u????

AFAIK They have stopped importing it.

they imported only one lot i guess and its not available any kinetic showroom .....

they imported two lots. No new ones as of now, but lotta second hand bikes available at 1.1 - 1.4 lacs

But is the Kinetic showrooms good enough to service those bikes now atleast?? After gettin it in second hand if spares are not available then that will be big mess!!!

I guess it is not being sold as new anymore. Will try and check from the kinetic showrooms.

It is discontinued guys. For 1.1 lac, do you think a 2nd hand Comet is a better buy over a new R15?

27bhp to be precise but then again if I were you I would definitely steer clear of anything manufactured by Kinetic...that too when it's out of production/limited edition. I have a Kinetic GF170 Laser Sport and now she's sitting idle in my garage as I have eventually given up on Kinetic for spares and I'am now happily using a Pulsar 180 DTSi....Comet parts are twice as expensive but only catch is to get the spares...get the bike only when you know someone is South Korea who'll export the spares to you...

Given the kind of condition of after sales service I'm sure 90% of Comet owners would love to dispose off that bike so 1.1lacs is highly far fetched. Again, I would not think you would get any Comet less 3 years old so a realistic price should be around 25-40K depending upon the condition of the bike...nothing more than that.Period.

Just my 2 paisas....
