yes i think it was lighter than a swifts. wasnt really paying attention at that time while driving swift but will take a drive again and see. first time i drove the stile 1.6 i got a shock that there was so little feedback from the wheel

A few people who TD my car had the same thing to say about the steering wheel. But from what I see its just a comparative thing. Its not an issue.

Particularly the Swift users will definitely have a say on this.

The guy from dealership told me that the GOVT says "it has to be a permanent fixture (meaning with a screw/bolt) & not by any synthetic glue or tape" !!!

Please enquire about the legalities before pasting / taping the number plates.

Yeah its dealers job but for that I need to get the vehicle registered through them. I got my vehicle registerd by myself so its just the number plate that i need to get and felt thats aint big deal :P.

Dont worry about that... the Palio's steering is a bit tighter than other cars, but you'll find that to be a boon on a fast twisty road....

But if you still feel its a problem, then you could go take a dummy test drive from another fiat dealer and check out the steering.

the only reason you feel the steering might be tight is because of air pressure in tyres , its absolutely mandatory for fiat cars to be driven with correct air pressures, 28 psi for single riding & for more than 3 its 30 psi, if tyre pressure is more you feel the steering is hard & on bad & bumpy roads it keeps slipping from your hand...

well especially in non ps cars you get the feel of the road and tyres turning etc which is totally non exitant in my stile bit disconcerting for some reason but am used to it now

steering tight is ok i guess but that rear wheel drum sure looks rusted so better get it coated with black paint for aesthetics sake since you have alloys, otherwise it wont do any harm
