1996 mustang gt

hey,
just moved out to san diego, ca. needed a car because without a car you can't get anywhere here. Looked around and finally narrowed it down to a mustang, camaro or a 3000gt. lots of people told me the camaro gave lots of problems so that was out of the question! Then between the mustang and the 3000gt was a tough choice but finally decided to get the mustang was i wasn't getting a 3000gt Vr4 except for one but it had some engine work on it, and plus i wanted to own an American muscle car. So i started looking and found a few on the net but then again anything can sound good on the net, so looked at a few but wasn't impressed with the V6 version at all. felt a little sluggish which put me of and i considered getting an eclipse, 240sx or something till i went and saw this mustang GT which has a 4.6 V8 as compared to the regular mustang which is a 3.8(i think) V6. The V8 blew my mind when i drove it for the first time and the decision was made! felt really weird driving on the wrong side of the road and all still getting use to all that. Was thinking about getting and exhaust but lets see. will upload pictures when i get a chance i'm gonna be busy all this week though so may be next week.

Congrats on the 'Stang, Skin46 and good on you to opt for the V8. I also wanted to buy a Mustang during my years in the States, but (alas) my budget then restricted me to a decade old Accord. I have a feeling you have bought the 99-04 body style, which is simply beautiful....I like it just as much as the current gen.

How long are you in the States for? San Diego is a wonderful place to live, and has plentiful interesting driving destinations. I say head over to Highway 1 this weekend. And post some pictures to make us go green.

SWEEEEEEEEt ... the GT is a great cat with amazing power GOOD LUCK the only thing itr lacks is handling the turns ,

GTO highway 1 is a great drive but ui think the Op should get a better understanding of the handling on the GT before taking up Highway 1 and fully enjoying it
