nice review mate. the only disappointing thing is the fact that honda has missed out so many features like the trip comp, projectors, esp, tcs, other little things. hopefully they will be included later if and when the 3.5l is launched. (or is that too hopefull?)

The previous gen V6 was a complete dud in sales. Low FE, no manual and a competitive 2.4 killed it. Honda says that V6 power is not required in India, thus they don't plan on launching it. Nonsense. It is because it doesn't sell.

I think there is a striking resemblance between the rear lights of new accord and bmw 745.. no?
Seen one today, looks good, but not as good as CRV
(no offence different people, different prospective)

true but i do think the v6 didnt sell in tiny numbers. for example my building has about 5 accords out of which 4 are v6.

I saw the posters of new accord and my first reaction was "Doesn't it look like Hyundai Sonata Embera" from front?"! Some people will kill for this comparison but just my first look impression.

I saw a black Accord yesterday on the road. Lookwise, it certainly looked perhaps better from all sides. Also looked bigger and somewhat similar to a Merc. However, the sharp chrome grille on the front looked a bit loud.

The immediate outgoing model had cruise control on the V6 version... Hopefully the V6 of the current generation will also feature cruise control. Just overheard someone at Sundaram Honda mentioning that the V6 would be out before the year end.

To be honest, cruise control is not a feature that anybody is going to miss. I have never had the opportunity of using cruise control in India.

went for servicing at honda , also checked out the accord & C-RV .The new accord seems a VFM car with a attractive price , but i think HONDA has no given it enough equipment , colour choices are very less. But at 18 lakhs on road (base version) its the best buy , no other car comes close , the laura is smaller & not comfortable enough , the camry is expensive .The new look teana (coming soon) would be some competition, but still would not match the price of the accord .On the downside the car is too large around the same size as a e-class thus would be a nightmare in congested delhi roads .I loved the earlier one , which was perfect in size & was better to drive . However saying all this HONDA can't make enough of it & has a winner again , my DAD is seriously smitten by it & loves the black one & seems to have made up his mind on his next car.
