Did you know this about 'new' Verna? Stock Tires upsized from 175/70 to 185/65 !!!

well, today i completed all my formalities, paper stuff ! i am buying VERNA CRDI SX ABS

i had learnt it from the forum that the stock tire comes as 175/70 R 14
and was all set to trade- in for upgrades to 185/65 R 14

but to my delight, new verna comes in 185/65 R 14 BRIDGESTONE B-250

i am so happy as it has saved me atleast 7k -8k trade in amount !

mind u, this comes in only for the topmost version ie.SX version only!

The title made me think that they are coming out with a new variant / face lift!

Khadoos, good for you. So, what do you plan with the saving?

Congrats in advance for your new car! The title is very misleading , maybe mods can tweak it.

Infact my friends VGT also came with the same tyres two months back. We were told that the ABS version comes with 185 tyres. Anyway congrats on your new car.

The title as well as the location is misleading. You opened this new thread in modification.

Congrats on your booking the car. But this is not the right section to post in. As you are not doing any modifications on your car.

@ Mods: Can you move this thread to appropriate section.

Same question - two times in 30 minutes!

Anyway, to answer the question: tyre's have their size written on their side wall. Its just a matter of bending down and reading them!

And congrats on you new ride!

well i dont know abt that, but when i checked other verna cars in showroom, they had 175/70

so i guess it is only for top-end ie. SX!

MOREOVER, IT WAS VERY PLEASING TO SEE THAT ATLEAST TOP-END VERSION COMES WITH WHEEL CAPcheers:

erm...the tyre size is already written on the side of every tire. you just have to read it.
you could get out a tape and measure it if you wanted, but its easier just to read it off the sidewall.
