Congratulations on the Getz CRDi, even though it is selling in very few numbers I "really" hope Hyundai does not take this model off the market too soon, its on of the best hatches selling in India.

And yes - was actually wondering if anyone here actually has got their Getz peted ? Any first hand info here ? am on the wrong thread I guess.

Then u need to get better set of tires soon.
You mean tyres better than Michelin E-XM1? I have already upgraded from stock Goodyear to Michelins on day 1.

I think KP was addressing Undead as he has retained the stock rubber bands on his beast.

Well, YES would be the answer for that. Stock rubber on 6J Alloys and flying at 140kmph speed . Adding to that , i am using Tubetype tires as tubeless tires.

i wouldnt put that big smile over there. IMO its highly dangerous and moreso since your using tube and tubeless.

I know that. But , i didnt face any problems so far. I went for a trip to hill stations twice and i was going fast in the hairpin bends, smoking the tires . When i went to Bangalore last week i was going on 140 kmph . Not much grip and i was feeling some vibrations in the steering wheel even though the balancing was done properly .

I guess that might be the reason . If it wears out fast , i am happy. I will buy Michelin tires for the second set.
