Folks, I am buying an Accent Executive in few days. I understood from the dealer that by default you can only install a 1 DIN head unit on Accent.

Does anyone have an idea if there is a way to install 2 DIN onto it? Ofcourse without damaging the car :-)

I dont think it will be possible to Install a 2DIN HU in an accent as you dont have space in the centre console.

Thanks Akshay. I understand you too own an Accent. Can you recommend me a good HU & speaker set? Also whether to fit on doors or dashboard.

Someone suggested me to get the stock tyres exchanged with the dealer with tubeless ones for better FE. Is that true? And someone suggested to use nitrogen filled tyres for better FE. Is this also true.

Can you share your FE figures & if there are ways to improve it?

I think the query on the HU and speakers should be put up in the ICE section. That is the section monitored by the ICE gurus and you will get the best responses there. Best of luck.

Tubeless is the way to go.
As for fuel efficiency i never got anything below 12kmpl even in city.
and max being 18kmpl without AC at a sedate pace of 80km/hr highway crusing.
