3 days and 250 kms after the episode of service light/loss of rpm/loss of acceleration and the Safari has gone on as if nothing happened. The 250 kms have included hard driving, cruising, coasting on all gears, granny-style driving, charging through broken roads, and basically all kinds of stunts to bring any and all issues to the surface before the truck goes for its service. The truck has gone through everything flawlessly and the service light hasn't resurfaced despite all the histronics.

The odo stands at 7.4k kms.
In any case, tomorrow is service time for the truck, so hopefully the mystery of episode can be solved tomorrow. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a good TASS experience.
