The snapshots were taken from an iPhone, that's only 2mp. Have my eyes on a set of alloys, seen a nice set with 5 spokes matt finish with Honda branding on it for 12k for 4, tyre upsize to 195/60/14 and a music setup but honestly don't feel like spending too much at the moment. Maybe 3 months down the line.

Just did my 3rd trip to Pune on the expressway, am noticing of late people don't give way. Irritating. Forgot to fill petrol before leaving and was taking the Powai road from my office in Andheri east, and was dangerously close to empty near Vashi, had to take a detour to look for a pump and finally found an HP one in of all places Sanpada. Strange that there is not a single pump all the way from Powai right till Vashi. None of their main pumps were working and they were using the old type ones and worse of all they only had Power which I don't normally use, filled anyway but very dubious about this pump.

On to the express way and have been taking the car to 160-170 on some stretches and continue to be impressed with stability at 160 on stock tyres, the power steering setup especially is outstanding at those speeds and for a 6 year old car it really does stick to the road. The only car I have driven faster is a BMW 5 series and an S280 in Kenya but that was donkey years ago.

The NHC which I used regularly before just can't compare for high speed stability. I think the AHNC will perhaps be as good as the OHC in high speed stability, its only weakness is the power steering is a bit on the lighter side. Now that I have a hands on perspective I do feel the reputation the OHC has on this forum is well deserved.

One thing I am a bit concerned about is a sudden surge, very slight in power at certain speeds, could be 80, 120 or 140, suddenly the engine gives a surge. What could this be? I have felt this on my Zen before but that's with the AC on and off.

I purchased a Aug 2002 OHC 1.3 Dx which has done 51000 KM from the second owner.
It has a K&N Conical Filter attached and a Blaupankt MP3 Player with 4 speakers and 2 tweeters not that great but savers my purpose

Some snaps attached .I drove almost 700 km in one month the FE in Highway is turned out to be 17 km/ltr with 90 % AC on normal unleaded petrol. City yet to check

Not done any servicing yet. Planning to do that by this month end any specific things i need to check.

Thanks
Yes tyres need replacement in near future
Also the rear right wheel arch and bumber has some body shop work there is some dent and missalignment if bumber, but not giving any nasty sounds

Non availability from a reliable source .
This one was from a guy very near to my home .So trouble free deal.
More economical in FE . I am not a fast driver . Rarely go for kerala trip but may not go more than 120 km/hr on highways.
