Bangaloreans loves Matiz. I bought a Matiz here in 2007 and it drove well for all these years. Now that the car is in Delhi and we have other cars too, nobody drives it

Since it is old, driving it in Delhi streets is not very good for your image Its lying in my garage. However, there are plenty of Matiz on Bangalore streets.

I like the car though!

Re: Remember me - 2000 Matiz

Matiz is a fantastic car. My dad bought a Daewoo Matiz in the year 2000 and he still drives it in my native place in WB. This is the first car in our family and he is very much emotionally attached with the car. He still clean the car after almost every drive. Only he lost LF wheel cap and replaced it with Maruti otherwise all is in factory condition. Hope you people like the car and the way dad is keeping our first car.

Re: Remember me - 2000 Matiz

This was one practical car of that time. I used to love the shape of it. More so, because at that time the Santro had this toothy grill which looked so horrible. And it was a breeze to drive in the city. Had the parent company not gone in trouble, I think it would have still sold in decent numbers. Was this the first success of the company? (Cielo cannot be exactly called a success).

As someone said previously, I think it is reliving all this in the Spark's avatar. One of my colleagues has a similar well maintained Matiz which is used as a daily drive. (just like Pavan Kadam's)
