a facelift + new features + better seats coupled with a price cut boosted the sales of the scorpio, so much that it even beats the xylo easily.

Before I post some interior pics, Just wanted to show the bull bar/front guard.
The brand Ajanta, and it took 15 days to get it delivered, because I wanted to get the same Mystic purple color.

Let me know your feedback. Also in the last pic I see the Tyre is slightly tilted while turning. Is that normal?

Few interior pics too with Gsport covers (Rs.12000) and Window visor (Rs.1800).

The bull bar is not visible clearly enough. Seems good though. Try n post a pic in better light conditions. How much did u get it for? And the seat covers are nice. Cheers.

Yes, take pictures in sunlight where background is dark otherwise it won't be clear as your are taking picture of car in shadow where background is much more bright, anyway bullgaurd looks nice and seat covers are very good too.

Sorry, It was taken in my Mobile - I will take a clear picture and post it.

I found someone posted their instrument cluster - which is quite different than what I have. I hope the new (after September?) comes with digital fuel and temperature gauges - while mine is analog. (I do not know who is the owner of the picture - I saved this to show it to the local dealer to check - sorry if I am violating any rules by reposting the pictures - I missed link to that post).

The first two are mine, and the second one is posted by some Team-BHPian.

benny, the 3rd pic is the new instrument cluster available in scorpios this month onwards.

Congrats Benny, Have a good experience with your new SUV. And any plans for ICE? If so , any idea which shop has good ICE collections in Coimbatore?

Raj

Any idea is the new instrument cluster available only on the top end VLX or it is availble on SLE and LX version as well.

As of now I am bit annoyed with what I have. Sound quality is poor. I am planning to change the System (DVD+4speakers) without woofers or amplifiers by next month. I may go for Alpine overall. Any suggestions are welcome.

One of my Friend opened a big shop in Mettupalayam Road, Just Opp to Murugan Mills. I recommend you to visit there to see wide range of Auto accessories - many are imported. The shop is called GMW (General Motor Works). Call Subramaniam -9487816768 , Ref my name (Benny) and you may get some discounts too. You will be amazed to see the Alloy wheel collection he has.

Also, If you want any performance Tuning, I have a friend of mine who is doing it professionally at Coimbatore. Let me know.

Thanks Raj. The new instrument cluster comes only on VLX model - rest comes with the older ones - at least till the stock closes.

BTW, Any one has an openion about the front Tyres? Why is is bit tilted while turning. Is that common is such taller SUVs?

No Mud wrapping section so far, But already Mud entering into the back doors easily due to the poor design of Door. See picture. I believe this issue doesn't exist with other SUVs, I am not sure how to avoid this. In the picture its better, But on a rainy day mud dirt easily enter into the doors and foot steps. Mahindra should work on this design. Also in the front wheel, Lud easily goes into the front bumper and makes the Car's front ugly with spilled mud all around.

Also I found water clogging into the rear view mirrors after wash.

Coimbatore is temperature is relatively better than any other cities in Tamilnadu, also the signals are less than 1 min, so, I do not feel much difference in AC climate change during Engine start stop.
But longer duration - even in colder places, I believe the engine should be running idle to keep better breathe.

Few other issues:

1. The digital clock - unusable during the day time since its not visible easily to read.
2. I hear a cracking noice occassionaly from the roof (above the rear right) while driving on rough bumps. It doesn't comes all the time though.
3. Battery is on, even after removing the key. I need to remove the key fast to get the contact disconnected. I couldn't accept this as a feature. :-)
4. Head lights are not enough - any suggestion are welcome.
5. Tyre pressure - there is 2 points difference exists between what I see in the TPMS and at the ELGI Nitrogen pressure pump gauge.
6... there are more, I will post them, But most of them are serious issues.
