Dealership Experience-

The dealership is pinnacle honda. We were very courteously welcomed by them and our sales consultant mrinal was very very professional. We booked the car on 20th and were promised delivery on 25th ,and we were confirmed a day earlier, that we would be given delivery on christmas.
Everytime we went there the sales staff were courteous, kind and respectful.
So it is a thumbs up for pinnacle honda from me....

D-day-
We were informed of the vin number and engine number a day earlier.I decoded the vin to find out that the car was manufactured in december.
so no worries......
On the day of delivery, we arrived at 12:00 Am to find out that the car was standing ,squeaky clean and ready to rumble.I went through the PDI checklist along with my mom ,while dad checked the bills, the insurance copies etc.
The engine has been assembled on 5th december 2009,and the tyres are goodyear GT3 Tyres, manufactured on December 2009.
I tried my level best to get MIchelin energy or primacy LC but ,they said that delivery would be with the stock tyres only...
Soon, after the formalities were over , my mom gave a bottle of french perfume to the manager and to the sales consultant.
and we were ready to hit the roads.
Around 4:30 we left for Durgapur.

Initial driving experience-
The ride quality over bumpy roads is superb and the goodyear tyres are almost noiseless in the highways, there is not a single squeak or rattle though its covers 192 kms in two days...and 89 of those on rough roads..(approx).
I really have nothing but praise for the tires..
Sound system is truly good, though not for the discerning audiophile......
Gears are slick smooth, and i just couldnt resist reaching 100 twice on the NH2.
The japanese touch is evident with perfect interior design,no uneven panel gaps and not a single thing out of place.
In short the fit and finish is of the highest order.
The Ac is pretty powerful heating the cabin in a minute or so with blower speed 4.

A long post really-
Now,I will attach the photos now taken at the showroom-(thats my mom)

Congratulations Iamlegend. Car is looking spectacular. You can consider getting the grill painted with black which can greatly enhance the looks further.

Congrats again to you and your Family Legend!

I would second your opinion about the Honda dealerships. They are good at Magnum Honda in Bangalore too. No issues whatsoever.

Dont worry so much about this. If you really want something else, try to trade the stock tyres before you cover more. 200kms is bit more for a trade.

i would second your opinion again. No bias on this whatsoever. People should Drive it to believe it ! isn't it ?

Oh ! yes, you will fall in love with the audios on the car. Check out the options in it. Try the RELAX option, its really good.

An 100 in this car is kid's play !

Japanese perfection you see ! It talks about the Honda's refinement man !

I would bet a million on this for sure !

Oh absolutely. You are right ! Why 4, just 2 is enough ? or maybe Durgapur's heat is on the higher side !

By the way, whats the power of the fog lights ? my car doesnt have fogs :-(

Rightly said nandans2005,i think honda city really tackles rough roads extremely well...,but it doesnt get any credit for that.....

at present it is showing 16.6(89 on rough roads+ 100 on highways+ 24 on the town roads which are mini NHs...[dont take my word for it...ask anybody who has been to durg......]).....

Are those alloys ? Did you get alloys has stock ? or you opted for the Honda alloys ?

how are the fogs? is it just a cosmetic kind of a thing or of any use at all?

@caramelo,

Nice observation about the heating aspect :-) and the AM stuff.

nicely noted caramelo,it really should read 12:00 pm...........

And hey,its cold in durgapur..so presently only using the heating and yes it just takes a minute even at blower speed 2......

nandans2005-Those are stock Honda Alloys Mounted(comes with 1.5V) with good year GT3 Tyres(i personally find them to be very good) and the fog lights are also stock (55 W)

And the chrome door handles ,along with chrome finished exhaust, and the alloys too. make it look wicked,....
