^^ yes it does!! details will be in my ownership report coming shortly. |
Is this feature available only in Titanium? I never saw any temperature gauge on my console!
it can be seen for all the models, just that a small tweak is needed. with that yu can temporarily convert your odo to temp/battery volt meter among other things!

Welcome Snazzy. Do get the VIN no and check with Wildon of tbhp about its month of manufacture. There is a slim chance of clearing old stock.
Heard that Apollo are totally stopped by Figo due to non-suitable tread design -- This info I got directly from Ford.
Got a call from Ford Regional Service Manager who looks after MPL Ford. He asked to take the vehicle to SC on convenient date. More on my thread about the discussion.
RGK, Please send me a link to your thread.
Mustang.101, My Ford dealer says my Figo was manufactured during December 2010 but it has Apollo tyres (will take delivery of the car next week due to ongoing loan formalities).
In one of your earlier posts you had said that Ford had terminated the contract with Apollo. How is it possible that my booked car is from December but has Apollos? Are December Figos getting Apollo types or is the dealer trying tricks?
Please advice.
What is the VIN number of the vehicle you are going to get?

Last few pages will show you the sad story of A-S-S... I am waiting something good will happen, nonetheless, Figo is a good car.
One thing I have left out - the paint quality is not so superior - a very thin layer is done
RGK, checked with Wildon and he has confirmed that MAJ 1XXMRJ 1AA75708 is from November 2010.
Thanks for your help.
@RGK sorry to hear that, hope they get it fixed asap.
BTW
Is the diesel avatar worth it if the monthly commute is less than 500 kms?
I know it wont cover the extra cost of the engine but does the diesel cause any noticeable problems as compared to petrol?
My aim here isnt to cut costs but to have better drivability without much hassle (as I have heard diesel engines can be problematic), i have read the petrol version is very underpowered.
thanks

Since your monthly run is so low, it would be better to stick with a petrol car.
500 km/month would translate to frequent short distance runs in the city (please correct me if I am wrong in this assumption), and that is something the TDCi is not so happy about. It will work fine as such, but I have noticed the FE to drop heavily under such short runs. The engine fails to reach the optimum running temperature.
What would fit your bill is a car with a peppy petrol engine under the hood. Do consider the Swift or the i10 1.2.
On a hindsight, if you go for the diesel, i'm almost certain that your 500 kms will be automatically converted to 1,000 kms. Diesels fool you into thinking you are making a fortune, making you run more and far clap:

I have seen one brand new one with apollo's. I guess they have started putting apollos again.
