Its very nice to drive & feels very safe.

Now it has been almost 6 months now for my car. I am really happy with my car. I get average of 17-18 on highway with AC. & 13-14 in City.

I must appreciate that Dzire has one of the best power steering in the market.

All i can say is all my Dzire about car fulfilled !!!!!!!!!!
Great car to own and drive;this is a winner every way you look at it;you will appreciate your decision when you begin to see how well the car performs even after many years.

Congrats on a very very sensible buy

Congrats Aniket & very honestly written review. I am very glad to hear that you are satified with the car you bought. BTW how much you have driven it already. Did you felt it going off balance when braking suddenly at high speeds.

Thanks Sam.

I have driven more than 4K kms till now. No problems at all. Regarding brakes, i never drive too fast. On highways i have gone till 120 max. Normally i drive safe around 90-100 mark only. I dont feel safe due to others on the road. Specially trucks, tempos, jeeps, six sitters (most crap on road), tractors and what not come our way on highways

Car never goes off balance till now, just to mention, i heard little noise 1-2 times when hard brakes applied. Thats it.

@aniketi,
What a sincere review! Congrats and hope you keep us posted with your journey with the DZire. It's an excellent VFM car and compares well against the Manza so don't get wishful.

@Sam: Have driven the DZire in ZXi trim for around 2K km through slow-fast(max 140), smooth-backbreaking conditions. Straight line braking at 100 below is good, above that is little upsetting but not as if there's loss of balance, below 80 is dead on spot (ABS). Heck, even OHC wheels lock with slammed brakes at 80. Sudden braking in turns (descending ghats) is good at around 60 without loss of traction. All depends on road conditions too. If you're trying to assess the CG shift changes vis-a-vis the Swift, don't bother too much. This is a good enough car.

I am new to this forum so exactly not know whether this post is correct for my Query or not. If anybody told me that why Boot space for Dzire ZXI/ZDI (440 Ltr) model is lower in comparison to VXI/LXI/VDI/LDI(464 Ltr) ?

Hi Sanman, this could be because the ZDi is equipped with wider tyres (and alloy wheels). Thus, the spare will take up that much more room in the boot.

Good Choice on the Dezire! I totally agree the dezire is a wonderful car and its not all hype. What kind of FE are you getting in the city?

I Initially wanted a dezire but then settled on the figo for now.

Please do keep updating this and upload some pictures.

Congrats again

I really admire your honesty in writing the review. Very rarely we come across such openess like the full use of mileage etc. Congrats. Personally, I never did fancy this car, but each to themselves is what I strongly believe in

But I was hooked onto your write-up for some reason

i am also looking for a dzire VXI K series, could you throw some more light on the mileage factor which you are getting in kneck to kneck traffic with 1000% AC, this will help me to plan for a petrol engine.
