Fiat Linea - Diesel 500KM - 31st MAR

I finally drove home out Fiet Linea (Emotion Diesel Red).

Some Initial Comments -

* Excellent handling at 120 KMPH
* Fuel Economy - The internal meter shows between 14 - 16 KMPL during my DEL - GGN drive.
* It's a smart car I liked the wash and wipe feature [Wiper re-runs after 6 seconds to clear any drips]
* I have been successfully overtaken at low and high speeds (for those who have doubts on power)

I took the car from Dhingra motors in Gurgaon. Mr Pawan was the sales guy and i got all the attention that I needed.

Accessories -
- Rear Sensors.
- Mud Guard and Foot pads.

Whats missing -
- I hope I am able to add USB to the Audio System (Any pointers?)
- Blue n Me (Or something similar I was just not willing to pay 80k extra for this. Don't need airbags and alloy wheels)

What nxt -
- I would like to connect with people in NCR with the same car. Any ideas / forums
- No comments yet on After Sales Service but have good relations with the Dhingra guys.

Congrats Sir,

The Flamingo Red Linea looks superb. Any specific reason for not opting the E-Pack, you would have got the Blue n Me, alloys, ABS and Airbags, steering mounted controls as 80K for these looks reasonable. May be i am missing a few more features

Pawan is very nice guy in Dhingra, and very patient, I booked my safari through him and canceled in a week, but he helped me both ways

so far it's very good.
I am getting 13-16 kmpl in City with 100% AC and 18-22kmpl in Highway with 100% AC.depends upon traffic and road conditions.

you can get more FE if you drive under 100km/h.

Enjoy and Drive Safe

Congrats bhatia. Car looks great. For adding USB with HU, check with original Blaupunkt dealers whether they have connectors. Even then, problem will be in routing the USB cable from behind the HU to a place where you can use it.

Drive Safe.

Just the budget my friend. I had already pushed it to convince myself to get the Diesel version.

Can you confirm the power rating of your diesel beauty whether it is 86PS or 93PS?
Just want to know whether Fiat has already started delivering the 93PS diesel engines or it is just updated on the website and yet to put it in the market.

Congrats Bhatia . As a matter of fact I am expecting the delivary of my Linea on Sunday which is the auspicious day (Akshay Tritiya) . And it is also a Emotion Diesel but minimal grey. USB I am getting done from the dealer. He said he will charge 1000Rs for it but I am in no mood to pay him that .

Enjoy your ride.
