Finally bough used honda civic 1.8S 20th June 2010. The shortlisting and buying experience can be found at http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/sedans...a-11-lacs.html

It is more than a month since I am using the car and it drives really smooth. I also own Skoda Laura 1.8 TSI, compared to Honda Civic the Laura rides really smooth, amazing acceleration as well as excellent steering feel (maybe since the Laura is new and the civic is 4 years old). The Civic looks like really suitable for sedate driving.

I have upgraded the seats with Stanley Black leather. Car still running with original NCT5 tires (looks like good for another 10K).

Attached are the pics with new seat.

Nice car! Congrats!

Looks like the previous owner had already upgraded to fog lamps and turn indicator equipped mirrors.

The leather seats look beautiful. I am tempted to upgrade mine. How much did you spend on those?

Congratulations,

hmm loads of pre-owned Civics these days.

Looks crisp,

Everytime I see a Civic I feel should have stretched myself and bought this beauty. But may be for the next time.

Enjoy the ride and drive safe.

Yes, those upgrades were done by the previous owner. In addition to that the car came with 5 alloy wheels, 3M sunfilm and HID headlamp (I was told they spend 30K for that) for low beam.

The leather seat coasted 36K.

Congrats on the car. I just love the CIVIC. But by the looks isn't that a "1.8 V" and not S. (Although it has a "S" Badge.)
EDIT: sorry did not read the previous post. Those upgrades do make it look like the "V".

You are right! There is nothing "S" about it anymore.

Congrats hassanks. I think PMM is the most common colour for Civic now. More than half of the Civics I see in the road has this colour. How much was the mileage of the car when you bought it? When I was looking for a used car, I was offered an S AT with 16k kms for about 8.5 lacs. Didn't take it though.

@hassanks, Congratulations for the Civic. She is a beauty. Looks very neatly maintained and cared for.
One question -> what is that burgandy colored thing on the floor in the back-seat photo?

The mileage was around 32K, I have checked the service record with Dakshin Honda prior to the purchase and it was genuine.

Since it is raining heavily in Bangalore and the floor mat on car was light color, put couple of cloth mats to ensure it does not get dirty and easily washable.

Congratulations,

Everytime I see a Civic I feel like having it but my budget wont permit me!!:Frustrati
I don't believe this is second hand one. The beast looks like brand new one.
Nice Pics friend.

I hope you enjoy the ride.
