My Hyundai Accent gave way to this beauty this Wednesday and it has been driving bliss ever since. Started off with an Innova and ended up with a City. We are a family of 6 with a Kid. So, never had city or any of the sedans in mind. Almost decided on the Innova but due to budgetary constraints had to take a re-look. Before anything, I have a strong dislike for certain brands - Tata, Mahindra and Ford. No matter what they dish out, they don't fall into my radar. The cars that I have owned till date (a 1st gen Santro, then a Xing, then an Accent, a Maruthi 800, and an Alto) reflect my choice of the brands that I trust in. Honda and Toyota were my dream for years but had to wait till I could afford. Here was a chance and my dream came true.

Initial impressions:
1. Ride/Driving comfort is just too good.
2. Sub-zero noise inside the car
3. OE speakers and system good enough
4. A bit worried about the low chassis (though did a test drive with 6 people before deciding)
5. Auto-lock on ignition on/off is a big miss
More later...

Accessories:
1. HRS 15" alloys - set of 5
2. 195/60 Michelin Primacy LC tyres - set of 5 (tyres+alloys costs 30K after replacement deduction)
3. Elegance accessory kit - Side protectors, Corner protectors, Illumini-step garnish and Chrome exhaust finish - 23K
4. Seat covers from Honda (bargained and got as a free accessory)
5. 3M HP 35 sun films (free from deader)

Congratz on your buy Krish, welcome to honda family. Nice looking alloys as well.

Congratulations, so you went for SMT/SAT+upgrade rather than VMT/VAT

is your ANHC Auto or manual ?

6 people in a ANHC... I have driven with 6+ people couple of times viz 4 adults+3 kids, 5 adults+ 2kids, speed breakers would be a challenge.

how often you intend to drive with 6 people in ?

Drive Safe, Have fun..

Thanks Shamanth, Starvegabond.

SM(Manual)T it is. Yes, I didn't quite like the alloys on VMT.

4 People most of times. 6Adults + 1 kid over weekends probably. thankfully people are not too bulky in my family.

why did you change the tyres? have you went for an upgrade? is it worth? can u explain the change you feel between the original ones and the new shoes

Congrats Bro, spoil yourself, a very good buy.

What was your total on-road price?

If possible can you also give us a break-up of the on-road price, please?

Congrats on your New car! Alloy really looks cool! As StarVB indicated, be careful while drivng fully loaded with 6 people over the speed breakers.

Enjoy your new car and drive safe.

Congrats on your new car. Have a swell of a time.
Did you get the brake assembly painted? Looks good.

Congrats on your buy and welcome to the club. The alloys look great and so is the red paint on the drums. I have the same color and is quite rare in the forum. Did the tyres come with Michelin? Can you give break up of the 30k deal for alloys+tyres+exchange?

Congratulations on your new car! This is a very nice color and pretty easy to maintain too.. Enjoy your ride!

Congrats Dude!!!
You just ensured & now get ready to spoil yourself. Good buy!
Drive safe with 6 laden people.

Congrats Krish.ANHC is a great buy.The car looks fabulous. Please continue to update.Dont worry much about the ground clearance. Overloading might lead to underbody scraping.Underbody is strong enough to take on the bumps. You can read more about this in my post.

Congratulations mate! That's a fine looking ride you got there! Do you mind posting some more pictures of the Elegance accessory kit? How much did this cost you? I was under the impression that this kit also included the mini spolier and the front and side skirting? Does the sidestep garnish involve any wiring?

Congratulations Sathish,

Welcome to the club, drive safe and have fun.

Alloys are neat and clean and looks good on the car.

Cheers
Raghu

Sathyaprakash,

I changed tyres because I was told that it adds more comfort to the ride. I didn't get too much time with the OE tyres (ie. 175/65). As of now I can just say that the 195/60 Michelin Primacy LC is giving me a joyous ride. I can't say if this is absoultely necessary but so far so good for me.

Shuvadips,

It was a corporate buy and hence the purchase was done by my company. I just know that the ex-showroom price was about 8.80 Lakhs of which I got a 15K loyalty bonus. The on-road should have come to about 10 L

Ram_NP,

Thanks.

Srishiva,

Yes, I did get the calipers and drum, painted. Costed Rs.1000/-

Jayanth_yk,

I insisted on the Michelins for better exchange value (in fact I gave it as a mandate). I believe they exchanged wheels from someother car.
Alloys break up:
HRS 15" rims - set of 5 - 20K
Tyres - Michelin Primacy LC - set of 5 - 5*5200 = 26000
OE tyres exhange - 2800 per tyre = 5*2800 = 14000
5 Rims exchange - 300 per rim = 5*300 = 1500

Net = 46000 - 15500 = Rs.30,500

RemingtonSteele,
Thanks

Mevtec,

Thanks. Will have a look at the thread.

monkey_wrench,

Will post more pics soon. The elegance kit includes - 4 Side door protectors, 4 Corner protectors (with chrome insert), Step garnish (4 Nos.) with illumination in front, Chrome exhaust finish. Cost of this kit is Rs.23K. Mini spoiler is not included. Yes, the illumini garnish involves wiring (from the doors)

Raghu,

Thanks
