You review has beaten expectations hands down; looking forward to see them zipping on the road

WHAT A SCOOP! Kudos M'sieu Anon.
A very well written unbiased review (We don't see too many of those now, do we?)

My points on the Nano:

1. Tata hopes to convert a lot of prospective 2-Wheeler buyers to buy this instead. Will it hold up against the increased running and maintenance costs?

2. The M800 is known to be a supremely reliable long term performer with very low cost of maintenance, plus even a rural mechanic can repair one. Can TATA match this?

3. Tata will have to have seriously fantastic A.S.S. keeping in mind both the competition as well as the numbers they plan to achieve.

4. Tata dealers will have to deal with a very new group of buyers here. I hope Tata pays special attention to training the sales force.

Wowclap:, now this is one hell of a scoop! Well done Anonymous Reviewer & thanks GTO - looks like they have a winner here!

Excellent Review. Kudos to TATA for making it possible at this price.

Three cheers to Team-BHP !! Great Review indeed.
Thanks GTO.

Now, could you also give information as to how to go ahead with the bookings ?

How do they plan to allot the cars ?

When can we expect Nano's on the road ?

MKP

Been checking for sometime now to see any details on Nano launch and I get to read about TD!!! Thank you Anonymous.

Prospective buyers are not exactly two wheel buyer but people who have a family but can afford nothing more than 2 wheels. It doesnt matter if its safer than M800 (which i am sure it is) but the fact that its safer anyday than a family of four travelling on a 2-wheeler.

Brilliant review! Kudos to Ratan Tata. Now what are Bajaj, HH and MUL gonna do?
Are are looking at heavy price cuts here? I would like to think so.

great reviewclap:.hope they release the europa version by next year end with abs, airbags, auto tranny will be the best car for city use:thumbs up

Isn't that exactly my point? Do refer to the next sentence where I have written regarding higher costs!

And apart from people who can not afford, I think most businessmen are going to stock 1 or 2 for their stable. Am gonna book one very soon.

now this is news!!congrats Tbhp and to that very lucky driver...
the nano does make a statement for its price!!
and about the M800,it was already suffering from higher sibling alto, only way is to reduce its price(getting it into bare bones).the competition is just going to get tougher with many other sub 2 lac cars around the corner in a year or two!!

Wow! What a scoop! Great in detail write up.

A very good point. Nano should not be allowed on Bandra-Worli Sea Link during monsoons! One strong wind and either this car is facing traffic in the opposite lane or straight into Mahim creek.

Excellent Review. Many of us here were expecting it to be crude, refined and low on quality, but it doesnt seem to be that bad. Infact, who so ever tested it found it better than an 800, tells something about the NANO.
