Re: Test Drive: Nissan Micra 1.5 DCi

6.85 lacs on road in Delhi would be atleast 7.5 lacs on-road in Bangalore. Now 7.5 lacs for a hatch back without ABS & Airbags! Need to find out what they were smokin'

Re: Test Drive: Nissan Micra 1.5 DCi

Thanks a lot for the incredible review on Micra Diesel Sid. Nissan has lost a definite customer and i just cant believe how can they make this glaring mistake of omitting ABS & passenger airbag from the diesel top variant when it is present on the petrol top variant. Definitely looks under featured and overpriced in comparison to the competition.

Would have loved to get something like this for my wifey but now have to reconsider the options. I can still bear the price but i simply cannot digest the non-availability of ABS, Passenger Airbag and seat belt pretentioner (is it there?) for almost 7 lacs.
I love the looks though. Definitely looks niche.

Re: Test Drive: Nissan Micra 1.5 DCi

My daily drive is a baleno..

I test drove the ford figo diesel and nissan micra diesel for the first time today. The engine under the micra can be driven like a petrol, slotting the gears felt like a cutting an icecream, there is a lot of power low-end & one won't notice the kind of rush in the swift diesels.
I absolutely loved the micra, but there are no safety options & offers here on diesel variants here in Chennai..
