Re: Chevrolet Beat LT (Petrol) : 4000 Kms Report

2nd Service/ 1 year 6080 kms service details

Issues Reported:

1. A/C not effective as expected

2. Left Pull

The total cost for the Servicing was 647 INR

This included, 400 Rs for Wheel Alignment and 183 INR for Air Filter change.

They said that for the AC to become effective need to replace the A/C filter every year. This costs 1200 INR.

Do you think i should change it? 1200 INR a year is justified?

Secondly , the left pull is still there. I will have to make a second visit now

What exactly is the problem you are facing? Low blower speed Or less cooling?
Is it not possible to clean the pollen filter using vacuum cleaner.
1200 is too high.

Try to keep the AC in recirculation mode. The filter will last longer.

Left Pull - Did you try re-orienting the tyres?

The problem is insufficient cooling for the rear passengers. They did clean the pollen filter and the effect is little better. SA advised to keep AC in recirculation mode as well for better cooling.

Re orienting tyres as in?

By the way i drove for around 280 kms on sunday and judging by the fuel meter Beat seems to have consumed 15 ltrs approx

Put the right ones at the left and the front tyres at rear.
You are supposed to change it after some kms.
