Re: A day trip to Thattekkad, Bhoothathankettu and Edamalayar

Lovely write-up, Rajeev. You have used your camera well to capture the beauty of these places. The arrival of summer rains, especially in such beautiful environs, is a wonderful thing to experience and I could share that experience thanks to your pics.

Are these places at a higher altitude? Is there any climb involved?

Laluks sir, please let us know the dates when you are planning to go so that we get to chug along (like a group) with you and learn some wisdom from your travels, if it is ok with you.
Anandg Sir, you are very right. Kerala has so many hidden beauty.
Regarding the second part, Sir I am just another average joe who just does some travelling. I wouldn't mind joining you guys though if you are planning to go to these places

Yes. We really enjoyed the summer rain on that day, first on the drive back from Edamalayar to Bhoothathankettu and subsequently the second bout of rain at Bhoothathankettu whish made us all fully wet.

No not really. From Bhoothathankettu the road to Edamalayar is a climb but not very steep.
