Which route to take from Panjim, Goa to Pench Hi guys,
Am on my last trip for the year and what better way to bring 2015 to a close than giving a shot (or several!!!) to Pench National Park and Tadoba. We are two families - My friend in his trusty Toyota Innova and me in my Safari Storme 4X4.
I have my safaris booked in Pench as well as Tadoba so thats all sorted. AM staying at WelcomHeritage Jungle Home @ Pench. And in Tigress@Ghosri in Tadoba.
Planning to take the route via Belgaum (or Belagavi as it is now known), Bijapur (Vijayapura - current name), Zindagi, Kalaburagi, Degloor and hitting NH7 at Nirmal.
Does anyone have any idea of the road conditions on this route. I drove on the NH7 last in Feb so have no idea of the current state.
Beyond, I will bypass Nagpur from Jamtha/Rui and head to Seoni past Pauni and Deolapur.
Any suggestions on the road as well as updates regarding current road conditions would be much appreciated.
The return leg will begin with a run to Tadoba. Google is showing me one route through Barghat, Katanga, Sawri, Chichi, Tumsar, Kardhi, Pauni, Chimur, Khadsangi and then on to Ghosri village to my resort. The second option is through Lalbara, Balaghat, Gondia, Chikali, Desaiganj, Nagbhir, Palasgaon and onto the resort. The third option is taking the NH7 (AH43) through Seoni, Deolapar, Mansar, Jamtha, Patanbori, Warora and back to Ramdegi.
Would anyone know the best route here too, in terms of road conditions as well as traffic situations?
Last leg will be from Tadoba back to Goa, and this time I want to try the road through Adilabad, Medak, Zaheerabad and onto Vijayapur and the road back through Belagavi.
Hoping for your inputs before tomorrow, as I leave early tomorrow morning.
Cheers!
