Re: Leopards from Bera & Tigers from Tadoba : A Photologue

Pictures are brilliantly captured, Robi I heard that most of the gates and routes in Tadoba are closed this year, was planning for Tadoba Earlier this month, when called up the resorts for bookings, they were clear that the safaris are only if you book at least a month earlier or else you have to be a VIP. So planned out for pench national park Maharastra.

Just wanted to know how did you workout in TATR, Have plans to visit next month.

Thanks for sharing

Cheers

Very nice photographs.

Regarding the resort pricing, here is the link http://leopardlairresort.com/tariff.html

As I understand, "Special Package - Double" is more cost effective than paying separately for accommodation, food and the safaris.

Do you have to share the jeep with others?

Overall, cost is Rs. 9500 + tax for two persons.

I am not sure about the checkin-checkout timings. Perhaps there is a safari in the evening after check in and then the morning safari before check out.

How many people can be accommodated in the jeep?

Thanks. Twin sharing definitely works out cheaper. Check in and out times are not strict, once you check in you can go for an evening safari at around 430pm. The same holds true before check out.
Everything is customizable. Just call them up and speak with Mr Devisingh. I believe the maximum in a jeep is 4. If there are no guests around you can have the jeep to yourself.
