A visit to the Porsche Museum @ Zuffenhausen, Stuttgart

I had the opportunity to visit Germany last month as i had some free holiday time from work and decided a couple of months prior to visit friends and also visit the BMW Museum, Factory and Welt in Munich as i'm a BMW 3 Series Owner and always wanted to visit the home of BMW.
Once i started planning my travel itinary, it came to be that i was visiting Stuttgart for two days and then decided to visit the Mercedes Benz Museum and the Porsche Museum.
Before posting this thread, i checked on Travelogue that a number of Team BHP members had already posted on visits to BMW and Mercedes Benz Museums and the photos taken were all similar, so decided to go ahead and put up my visit to Porsche, Zuffenhausen.
It was a tuesday morning, i checked out of my hotel and drove to Zuffenhausen, which was just on the outskirts of Stuttgart city. Just near the factory, i saw a 911 pass me by and then following the car, realized it's one of the company staff going to work as he turned off to the company employees entrance. How cool is that,

The Museum is located opposite to the main factory and the area is like a small Porsche world. Most cars seen are Porsches, there is ofcourse huge billboards on the latest porsche car adverts and there is a huge showroom, just in front of the factory. For a German car enthusiast, this was car heaven for me.
The Museum cost is 8 Euros entry, open from 9am to 6pm and is closed on Mondays. The building is simply breathtaking in design and build. http://www.porsche.com/museum/en/

Good collection of photos friend. I recalled my visit to this museum in 2009. Some of the interesting pieces worth mentioning are Porsche's engine notes demonstration and the slide show which differentiates various Porsche models.

Great report and nice snaps. I was in Stuttgart 3-4 years back and stayed near Porsche Museum in a hotel called "Achat Hotel".

Isn't the Porsche museum in Porscheplatz? Your title says it's in Zuffenhausen: "Porsche Museum @ Zuffenhausen".
