Ever since I got in to birding/wildlife photography, I always looked forward to spending at least a couple of hours behind the lens during weekends. But mostly ends up in a meager walk, as most of the days are weather challenged here. BTW, I live in Chongqing/China most part of the year.

Hi all,

I am planning to visit this ranganathittu bird sanctuary in mid December. Will this be a suitable time to see the birds ? Is it advisable to go with a 4 year old kid ? What camera gear is best suited for the photography ?

December to June is the right season to visit Ranganthittu. Had visited this saturday.There were plenty of birds including a few pelican.So I guess a trip with a 4 year old would be just perfect.
