The AF is the only disappointing aspect of this Camera it tends to 'hunt' a lot trying to figure what you want to focus on when zoomed out. Static subjects are not an issue - it eventually figures out what you you're looking to focus on. Moving subjects can be very tricky, I'm going test it in burst mode to see how fast it can capture a sequence.

It lacks a touchscreen so you cant pick your focus point by tapping on the screen.

Visited Dr Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary at Thattekad during x-mas break last year. Two great days in birding heaven.

I was a bit surprised as well. The pics were a bit soft and noisy. It’s the learning curve I guess.
