Extremely well written travelogue with some superbly captured moments. Well said Dhanush and thanks for making us look at our rides through a different (& if I may, 'Intimate') perspective. Thanks a ton for sharing.

Hi Mowgli!
Long time no See. Hope you are in the pink of your health and happiness.
Thanks for your kind words. Photo credits doesn't go to Mrs D . C'mon!!!

Shall make amends to my long absence from the forum. Had been handling a difficult portfolio. Things are better now. Shall be penning down the future endeavours. Himalayas have gone since long, I dont even remember half the things

Re: An XUV500 speaks: The Western Ghats I hadn't known...

Another amazing narration Mr. D's XUV. While he stays away from posting his travelogues, you are the saviour for us all who are in search of such great reading and experiences. Western ghats are of particular interest to me. Every year for last three years in a row I have been visiting western ghats but at a very very wrong times. I could never make it to western ghats in the monsoon or near monsoon season. That leaves me craving for such trips you take Mr D on!

Just last week I went to Kaas Plateau and the views were so amazing, I am sure during peak monsoon the same place would be totally different! Hoping that some day you will meet my Orange Cheetah and give a tip or two to inspire me for more such trips. After all the Cheetah is home because of folks like you and Duma!

Wishing you many more exciting trips and great time with Mr D.

Thanks abirnale. Your words are very kind I should say.
You being much closer to the Western Ghats and still not visiting that place is criminal.

Yes I remember the snaps you shared. I feel the time you went was better than the flush of monsoons. You get greens and then you also can get down and enjoy the views too. That might not always be possible during the thick of monsoons unless you are looking at drenching the interiors of the car too.

... reminds me of the several aimless drives undertaken around Pune during the monsoons.

The pictures are simply eye refreshing!
