You made me add another item in MUST DO list. A solo trip to ladakh ..

Sumit your photographs and fluid writing bring out the beauty of Ladakh superbly.

What seems even more amazing is that you seemed to have ventured solo and being a true traveler and not a tourist have brought out so much more that the place offers.That despite Ladakh now perceived as tourist infested.

Have to make a trip there and perhaps the only place remotely similar to this wonderful topography that I have seen is Gurudongmar lake in Sikkim.

Looking forward t your next travelogue.

The fuel for entire duration came to around 45000 , while the expenses at places like Leh is around 1100 for stayper day while food is as per individual while the stay at places like Pangong , korzok , tso kar was 1000 all inclusive each day .

thx for the warm words . I used two camera bodies and multiple lenses including both zoom as well as wide angle ( 11-24 , 70-200 , 24-70 ) , tripod and assorted filters .

Excellent travelogue and what a timing for me when I am planning my leh ladakh trip in Late Jul / early Aug. And the photographs are in a different league altogether.

One query though, were you able to make it from Leh to Chang La GH on the same day after doing tso Moriri and other places?

hi,

the route that i traveled was Leh >Tso Moriri > pangong Tso > chang La > Leh

done over a period of multiple days
