Trek to Valley of Flowers, Uttarakhand

We had gone via Gio Adventures. There were many people aged around 40s in our group and there was even this young lady in her 60s. None of them faces any problems and did most of the trek.

If you can trust govt. run institutions then GMVN organises all inclusive trip to VOF and Badrinath. They start from Rishikesh and end at Rishikesh which is well connected by road. Another reputed private tour operator is Indiahikes. Gio adventures also look promising. Just make sure all folks are healthy and do not have knee ailments. If everybody actually hikes and does not take help of mules then the trek from Govindghat to Ghagaria and Ghagaria to Hemkund Sahib is actually taxing, so be prepared and do not take it as any run of the mill hike for sure!
