In these covid times,it makes sense to do something like this ,which a lot of people have in mind,but to make it a reality is praiseworthy and I applaud you for the conviction you had in turning an arid land so green.pls post more .

Congratulations, @OffRoadFun!

Pomegranates are a very good choice, good prices, demand all year round, grows in sandy loamy soil well. Excellent progress, I must say!

I am much behind you - just finished levelling, but the crop of my choice are beans (being a semi-arid area on the Andhra border as well) and will put in drip irrigation. Will post photos when presentable.
