Re: Bandipur, here I come again | This time with a twist & adventure

Hello! Nice post, thanks for sharing! Do you know which one of the Harini rooms is forest facing? On the website, I see Harini 1 and Harini 2. Or, do both rooms have a window facing the forest?

Hello. Its Harini 2 that faces the forest. However both 1&2 share a common verandah.

So, there's no real difference between JLR and cottages WRT the prices. I was hoping there would be a cheaper option. Perhaps the jeep safaris are priced this way so only the committed ones show interest, keeping the forest from being abused.
Yes dearchichi. I felt there is no difference in the prices if you are interested in jeep safari. Bus safari + Bandipur cottage is cheaper option.

Regarding preventing abuse of the forest, I would assume that this is why the cost of a jeep safari was kept a little higher. However, it appears that most people today are not concerned about these costs. I frequently overheard individuals requesting Jeep safaris because they believe that only Jeep safaris are worthwhile, which is true up to a certain extent because Jeep safaris have more time + they can go to different places based on the communication they receive on the sightings.
