Mag, that was a wonderful travelogue. I can see that you were more than thrilled to get some nice south indian food at knock down prices

The pictures especially were drool worthy and can you also post which camera did you use? I see the blue of the skies as the real ones, is it a DSLR?

Hey MagicEye

Nice photos. Can you please post your FE figures? Also how many ppl aboard the car? Also how old is your car?

I went to the Anantheshwar temple last December during the Shashti festival. Plan to go there again this year.
You've just inspired me to take my car this time.

Thanks!

@theMag... No they were not allowing anyone to go down. They had blocked off the steps.

@magiceye: i went to jog last week.. people were allowed to go down.. actually the steps that had blocked collapsed at many places.. so people kinda just walked ahead on the muddy path.. i wanted to go so badly but was scared someone might take a liking to my cramsters n flick em..lol..
on the way outta there 2 huuuuge volvo excavators on trailers were stuck in the slush.. they went off the road to allow a bus to overtake.. finally all the vehicles got stuck!..lol..
security guards told us that some girl(adult) went missing there.. her body was found a week later with 2 more bodies next to her stuck in the rock.. they showed pics n all that.. pretty sad thing! :(
