Outing in rural Palakkad

Hi!!! Nice story.

Palakkad is a district I love to hate. For some reason, every time I have to go there, it is peak of Summer. Starting next month, I will have to go to tour Palakkad, means I visit the district at least twice a month.

This thread insspired me to write my own on the road from VIctoria College to Malampuzha.

Incidently, my mom's mother's ancestral home (tharavadu) is in Palassana,and her father's ancestral house is in Nenmara. The Palassana puthan kavu is my adima kavu

(For those who don't follow malayalam: Puthan Kavu literally means New Temple. Adima Kavu is best translated as the kuladevata temple). The temple here is called the Pazhaya kavu or Old Temple, though it has been repaired and done up recently. The Puthan Kavu is a small, ancient looking temple
